The Receipt

God became the payment His justice required. The cross is Heaven’s receipt, stamped in blood: PAID IN FULL. The resurrection is God declaring: “Payment accepted. Case closed.” Sin cannot charge again. Condemnation cannot reopen the file. Death cannot demand a second payment. That would be double jeopardy. God satisfied God. The blood has spoken. The verdict stands.
